Pasta Bundle

The Yorkshire Pasta collection includes five of the 500g pasta bags for a selection of shapes. The collection includes:

  • Fusilli - a spiral shaped pasta, perfect for serving with zingy pesto and rich meat ragus. 
  • Penne Rigate - a great all-rounder, with an angled end for optimum sauce-soaking. 
  • Conchiglie Rigate - pasta shells, excellent for creamy, cheese-based sauces. 
  • Tortiglioni - curved shape with pronounced ridges on the outside. 
  • Mezze Maniche Rigate - small, short tubes for creamy sauces, fresh seafood and beef ragus. 

Yorkshire Pasta celebrates the beloved Italian product, with a focus on using all-natural, local ingredients and a sustainable approach to packaging. Based in Malton, Yorkshire Pasta uses wheat flour from a nearby mill. This flour is mixed only with water - making it vegan-friendly - and a natural drying process avoids the need for preservatives.  

The Yorkshire Pasta company uses traditional pasta-making techniques to create each shape, from the highest quality ingredients to the shaping of pieces and slow drying process. Each piece of pasta is pressed through bronze dies. These metal dies give the pasta a rough surface, excellent for soaking up sauces. Plus, each shape has a specific drying process - this removes excess moisture, keeping the pasta fresher, for longer. 

 

All pasta is presented in 100% recyclable paper bags meaning it’s good for the planet, too.

Carbonara

An indulgent Italian classic, spaghetti carbonara is traditionally made with guanciale. The pork cheek gives a rich flavour to the dish, but you can also use pancetta. Spaghetti is the traditional pasta shape for carbonara as the egg yolk emulsion clings onto each strand perfectly, but we won’t judge you for using conchiglie or tortiglioni.
